Local Guides Ski- and Splitboard touring days

3 days with 3 wonderful ski tours in and around Obertauern – these are our Local Guides ski tour and splitboard tour days!

The south with its Nockberge mountains and the north with its Niedere Tauern mountains offer us an incredibly beautiful and special playground and we would like to share it with you. The ascents and descents are designed according to your fitness level and ability.

Our region offers an immense choice of summit experiences – no matter if you are a touring beginner, advanced or professional – we will find the perfect tour for you.

WHAT AWAITS YOU

This is how your ski/splitboard touring camp might look like:

Please note: The detailed planning takes place on site depending on weather and conditions. To give you a little foretaste of possible tours, we have described three possible tours in the Lungau region below:

1st day:

We start with a refreshment of basic skills in the field - starting with handling the avalanche transceiver, orientation, snow, avalanches and meteorology.

As an entry tour we will take a variant with an easy, moderate ascent but casual descent in our touring paradise on the Tauern. Afterwards: debriefing and planning for the next day. HM ↑↓ 510, walking time approx. 1.5h

2nd day:

After we have warmed up already, we take on a more demanding tour for the second day. As enthusiastic snowboarders/skiers and guides we like to move playfully in the terrain and give you tips and advice on the perfect technique. In the evening we gather strength for the last day. HM ↑↓ 650, walking time approx. 2.5h

3rd day:

At the end a real downhill highlight and a real insider tip awaits you. Depending on the snow conditions, you will descend to the valley. You can also try out leading a group under the expert guidance of your ski/snowboard guide. Expected end 15:00 hrs.

DATES AND REGISTRATION

Places and registration:

The camps will take place with a minimum of 4 participants - there is a maximum of 6 places per date and camp.

As soon as it is clear that the camp will take place, we will ask you to pay a deposit of 50% to fix your place. Our general terms and conditions and the general cancellation conditions contained therein apply here.

You should still know that:

The prerequisite is safe and speedy off-piste skiing/snowboarding.
Freeride equipment (avalanche transceiver, probe, shovel) is a must - we are happy to help you if you are missing something. Rental equipment is included.
All guides are of course qualified with a special training according to international standards.

Price:

The 3-day camp costs 960€ for all participants together - i.e. if there are 6 participants, the price/participant is 160€ for the 3 days. Including avalanche transceiver rental equipment, excluding accommodation.
